We couldn't be more excited! So far this summer we've had Seva information tables all across the country. We are grateful for the generosity of musicians and festival producers! And we're also excited to be following Seva Co-Founder Wavy Gravy as his film Saint Misbehavin', makes its way around the film festival circuit!
We've recently been at the Harmony Music Festival, Kate Wolf Memorial Festival, Oklahoma's Dead Center Film Festival, The Maui Film Festival, High Sierra Music Festival, The Oregon Country Fair, Phish's Shoreline Amphitheater Concert, and many other wonderful events! |

AUG 17th - Elvis Costello @ Mountain Winery, Saratoga, CA Longtime supporter Elvis Costello, a special unannounced surprise guest at Seva's 30th Anniversary Concert last year, has invited Seva to this much anticipated event at the beautiful Mountain Winery in Saratoga, Ca. Thanks Elvis!
AUG 19th - Jackson Browne @ The Paramount Theater, Oakland, CA Jackson is one of Seva's most dedicated musicians having played numerous shows to support our work over Seva's 30 years! Come out to the famous art deco Paramount Theater for what is sure to be a wonderful night of music!
AUG 28-30th - Outside Lands Festival, Golden Gate Park, SF, CA Outside Lands took San Francisco by storm last year, come join Seva at what is sure to be another epic event in Golden Gate Park. This year's lineup features Dave Matthews Band, Pearl Jam, Thievery Corporation, Modest Mouse, Brett Dennen, Tea Leaf Green and many many more! http://www.sfoutsidelands.com/
SEPT 4th - Poetry and Pizza, Escape from New York Pizza, San Francisco, CA Starting at 7:30pm, this wonderful event has a suggested donation of $5. That will get you in the door, all-you-can-eat pizza, and an opportunity to hear some wonderful local poets including Joan Gelfand, and Jan Steckel, and longtime Seva volunteer Adele Mendelson. SEPT 10th - Chris Berry Trio, Pearl Street Nightclub, Northampton, MA Proceeds from this event will be donated to support Seva's work around the world! A great opportunity for our East Coast supporters to come out and support Seva! Chris Berry is joined by Steve Kimock (Jerry Garcia Band), Michael Kang (String Cheese Incident) and members of the 2009 Grammy Nominated for Best Electronica Album, the Brazilian Girls. SEPT 11-13 - Bhakti Fest, Joshua Tree, CA This great festival brings yoga, lectures on health and spirituality, music, and progressive organizations together at a beautiful site just five miles from the world famous Joshua Tree National Park. SEPT 12th - Power to the Peaceful, Golden Gate Park, SF, CA Thanks to longtime Seva supporter Michael Franti, Seva will again be a part of this great annual event. Franti, who produces the one-day festival, brings together progressive speakers, causes, and musicians to celebrate activism and social awareness. SEPT 16th - Bonnie Raitt & Taj Mahal @ Paramount Theater, Oakland, CA A portion of proceeds from this event will be divided up to support a variety of progressive organizations that have been hand picked by longtime Seva supporters Bonnie Raitt and Taj Mahal. SEPT 19th - Crosby, Stills & Nash @ San Jose Civic Center, San Jose, CA All three of these wonderful musicians have been longtime supporters of Seva's work. David Crosby and Graham Nash headlined Seva's last benefit concert and had crowds roaring with their stellar performance. SEPT 24-27th - Earthdance, Black Oak Ranch, Laytonville, CA Earthdance's motto is Give Peace A Dance. We invite you to join us at this wonderful festival held at the infamous Black Oak Ranch in Mendocino. The festival features many all-star musicians such as Sound Tribe, India Arie, and Galactic, as well as plays host to a Gathering of the Elders that includes elders from around the world. Festival attendees have many chances throughout the weekend to absorb the wisdom of these incredible speakers. OCT 9th - Mill Valley Film Festival, Mill Valley, CA Come meet Seva's infamous Co-Founder Wavy Gravy and witness his incredible life as it screens at the Mill Valley Film Festival.
